MOZART Y MARIACHI
The SFYSA offers a citywide program for violin instruction. Group lessons are held twice a week after school at several schools. Each student is placed in a class appropriate for their experience, regardless of age or grade. Returning Mozart y Mariachi students will be considered first for the program each year. After the initial enrollment is filled, the applicants on the waiting list will be selected by a lottery system.
The class fee is $400.00 per school year, payable in 8 monthly installments, and scholarships are available. A few violins are owned by the SFYSA and may be loaned to individual students as part of their financial aid package. For more information, contact the SFYSA office at 982-8483.
